L’ex giocatore e allenatore della National Basketball Association Isiah Thomas, attraverso ISIAH International, LLC, sta investendo $ 3 milioni in One World Pharma, Inc., un produttore autorizzato di canapa e ingredienti di cannabis con sede in Colombia.
Thomas attualmente serve come vice presidente e amministratore delegato di One World.
L’investimento verrà utilizzato per costruire un impianto di estrazione e ottenere un’ulteriore certificazione di buone pratiche agricole per i semi di cannabis ricchi di THC. L’ISIAH ha già fornito a One World $ 250.000 e il resto dei fondi sarà erogato in sei mesi.

One World è stata fondata nel 2017 e ha uffici aziendali sia in Colombia che a Las Vegas, Nevada.
Thomas ha giocato 13 stagioni NBA con i Detroit Pistons, vincendo i campionati nel 1989 e nel 1990. È stato 12 volte All-Star, 2 volte All-Star Game Most Valuable Player e MVP delle finali nel 1990. Thomas ha anche allenato gli Indiana Pacers e New York Knicks.
È affiancato da ex giocatori NBA Chris Webber , Al Harrington, Larry Hughes, John Salley e Shawn Kemp in quanto investiti o posseduti in una società di cannabis.
